What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • •  Contact and inquiry forms. When you fill out a form on our site (including the Contact page and the Data Readiness Hub lead-capture form), we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, company name, job title, and any message or description of your business challenge you provide.
  • •  Email communications. If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence to respond to and track the conversation.

Information collected automatically:

  • •  Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and, where you consent, to understand site usage. Our cookie consent banner lets you choose which categories of cookies to allow. See "Cookies" below for detail.
  • •  Analytics. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay, so we can improve the site's content and structure. Where active, these tools process information such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices and opt out of Analytics tracking at Google's opt-out page.
  • •  Security and log data. Like most websites, our hosting and security systems automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, used to protect the site from abuse and unauthorized access.

If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we do not currently alter our analytics practices in response, though you can still control cookies and analytics through the mechanisms described in this policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, health information, or government ID numbers) through this site, and we ask that you not submit such information through our forms.

Cookies

Our site uses a cookie consent tool (CookieYes) to let you control which cookies are set on your device. Categories may include:

  • •  Necessary cookies, required for the site to function, which cannot be disabled
  • •  Functional and analytics cookies, used to understand how visitors use the site and improve it, set only with your consent

You can change your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings banner on our site, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

Third-Party Tools We Use

To operate this site, we work with the following categories of service providers, who may process your information on our behalf, solely to provide the services described:

  • •  Form and lead management (Gravity Forms), to collect and route information submitted through our forms

These providers are contractually and technically limited to using your information to deliver these specific services, and are not authorized to use it for their own independent purposes.

Clients and Data We Process on Your Behalf

As a data management consultancy, ThoughtSpark's services may involve accessing, processing, or advising on data our clients hold about their own customers, suppliers, or business contacts (for example, product, customer, or master data within a PIM or MDM system). This section applies to that engagement-level data, separate from the website data described above.

  • •  We process this data solely to deliver the services agreed with our client, under the terms of the applicable service agreement and, where required, a separate data processing agreement.
  • •  We do not use client-provided data for our own marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.
  • •  Our client is responsible for ensuring it has the appropriate legal basis to share this data with us, and for responding to requests from its own customers or contacts regarding their information.
  • •  If you are an individual whose data has been processed by ThoughtSpark in the course of our work for one of our clients, and you have a question about that data, we recommend contacting the ThoughtSpark client directly, as they control that relationship. You are also welcome to contact us and we will direct your inquiry appropriately.

Job Applicants

If you apply for a position with ThoughtSpark through our Careers page or a recruiting partner, we collect the information you provide as part of that application, which may include your name, contact details, resume, work history, and any other information you choose to share. We use this information solely to evaluate your application and communicate with you about the hiring process, and retain it for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or as required by law.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

  • •  The service providers listed above, strictly to operate the site
  • •  Professional advisors, regulators, or authorities where required by law
  • •  A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, on the same terms as this policy unless you are notified otherwise

How Long We Retain Your Data

We retain information submitted through contact or lead-capture forms for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of business communications, and no longer than needed for that purpose unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

  • •  Request correction of inaccurate information
  • •  Request deletion of your information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address listed above.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email address above.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures, including firewall and security monitoring tools, to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
